ADRIAN FRUTIGER'S AVENIR
Avenir is a geometric, sans-serif typeface that was designed by Adrian Frutiger in 1988. Frutiger's goal was to design a constructivist typeface that had more stroke variation than many other constructivist and geometric faces. Avenir is slightly more humanist and organic than many of its predecessors, qualities which are emphasized by the letter a created from organic matter in this poster. The constructivist layout emphasizes the geometric qualities of the face and contrasts the organic letterform.
